Ventia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Technician to join their Energy Network and Renewables team based in Rotorua.ABOUT THE ROLEThis role will be working within our Maintenance Division, primarily responsible for working as part of a team that installs, maintains and repairs High Voltage Power Stations.Other responsibilities include:TestingProgrammingReportingFault diagnosticsCompleting planned maintenance worksInstalling HV and substation equipmentBeing part of other ad hoc project worksThere is an expectation to travel within the region that we cover (predominantly in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty but sometimes in the South Island as well).
This will suit anyone that is keen to travel and explore New Zealand while expanding their skills and experience in the Power industry.Other DetailsCompetitive pay depending on skills and experiencePermanent, full-time role at a minimum of 40 hours a weekLiving away from home allowance, accommodation, as well as overtime and travel time are covered.ABOUT YOUAs the ideal candidate, you will have a tertiary qualification with a minimum of 4 years of technical experience.
