Proposal Engineer

· Liaise with customers and sales on request for quotes (RFQs) and quotation requirements. · Prepare quotations and cost calculations, ensuring compliance to company procedures. · Distribute to the various suppliers and follow up on quotations. · Assist sales in turning quotations into active orders. · Review purchase orders received from customers ensuring compliance to company procedures. · Confirm acceptance by other Howden business units and/or third party suppliers on scope, price and conditions. · Manage confirmation to the customer, ensuring compliance to company procedures, and the payment milestone . Managing the logistic of the orders. Sales and Funnel Management · In cooperation with both sales and agents, pro-actively manage the funnel of outstanding proposals and keep the quotation status in CRM up to date. · Provide accurate monthly / quarterly booking forecast Purchase Orders · Prepare purchase orders to internal business units and third party suppliers, ensuring compliance to company procedures. · Liaise with and assist the Logistics and Finance Departments in the expediting process and order to cash process. What do you need to bring? · Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar. · 3 to 5 years relevant experience with engineering products in the industry. · Good verbal and written communication skills in English. · Good interpersonal and cultural assimilation skills. · Possess technical knowledge on product drawings · Computer literacy, with good knowledge on using all MS Office applications Company information Registration No. 199106158K Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Singapore?
