Property Manager

This large government department has a diverse property portfolio including both owned and leased buildings. They have a decent sized property team to manage all property including projects - both capital works and large scale new builds. This role fits into a small team managing a specific part of the portfolio which is predominantly office space.
You will join as a Leasing Manager focusing on negotiating new lease renewals as well as identifying new sites when required. You will need to be aware of market rates for leases in order to obtain the best price for the department.
You will come from an extensive property background, most likely with a tertiary qualification behind you as well as a decent level of property management experience. Specific experience working either private sector or public sector across a large property portfolio managing leases is required. You will come in as a leasing expert and be able to provide advice from day one.
You will join an inclusive and fun environment reporting to a manager who understands flexibility and the need to focus on outputs. You will be rewarded with a salary between $100K and $120K.
