Papatoetoe, AucklandPart-time, PermanentSteve Jobs once said, “It doesn't make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do; we hire smart people so they can tell us what to do.”Our business is looking for a confident person to visit selected properties in Papatoetoe to find out if the properties are for sale or not.This is a contractor role, not a permanent part-time role (though there are regular times that you will need to work). You will be required to invoice us for payment and will be responsible for your income tax obligations. Please note that candidates on student visas are not able to work as contractors .The successful applicant will be responsible and independent, fast learner and take charge of their roles .You will be given a list of addresses you must visit in a span of two to three hours at a time and have a discussion with the person answering the door in regards to the property.We are looking for more properties to buy for development and as such are visiting these properties to have a quick chat with property owners.You will need your own reliable transport for this job.You will need to work on at least one weekend day per week, and at least two shifts per week (six hours per week) . Times and days are negotiable though will be in the evenings (after 6pm) Monday-Friday, and from 4 or 5pm onwards during weekends.A period of two weeks paid training (paid at $17.70 per hour) will be given as there are several things you must learn and understand before going out on your own. During this training, you will accompany a staff member on the job.Once you are trained, the pay rate will be $17.70-$20 per hour, and there will also be a commission for successful leads. No CV or experience is required. Lots of common sense and initiative IS required!Applicants must live in South Auckland! This is not negotiable!!We are looking for an entrepreneur, not an employee!
