Projects Supervisor - Minor Works

About the Company This award-winning company carries out a wide range of contracting work across Otago, Canterbury and Southland, with depots in Cromwell, Alexandra, Twizel, Tekapo, Fairlie, along with head office in Oamaru. They hold various maintenance contracts for Roading, Water and Wastewater as well as being a strong performer in the Civil/Construction, Surfacing, Landscaping and Vegetation control sectors. The Role Are you looking for the next step in your career? This role will have you showcasing your leadership with a small team, co-ordinating other staff on minor projects and involves movements on larger projects as well. This is the perfect opportunity to become part of a thriving business who invests in their staff potential. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Demonstrate proficiency with operating all types of civil machinery, Ability to price work and communicate with clients on projects, Ideally hold a Class 4 licence and W, T and R endorsements (Can be provided under a training agreement), Showcase ability to lead productively without direct supervision, Has a strong focus on quality, health & safety and the environment. Qualifications and Experience Relevant experience and qualifications, Strong verbal and written communication skills.
