Having created and grown multiple successful businesses across a range of industries (including childcare and professional sports) this entrepreneur is looking for a driven, switched on character to lead the project management of web, e-commerce and software solutions. With a wealth of business knowledge and ideas galore, a huge opportunity exists to use technology in order to innovate industry through unique offerings while also optimising and automating internal business processes (think HR, staffing, enrolments and health and safety to name a few).

Role snapshot:
While you be involved across multiple businesses you will report directly to the owner and work closely with him on all projects. You will take ownership of projects from inception, eliciting full briefs, carrying out scoping sessions, helping design the solutions and drive the timeline of work all the way through to release and ongoing support. To achieve this you will manage an offshore development team based in India, writing specifications for them to follow, briefing the team and keeping them to strict design and timeline re quirements. You will also assist with the roll out, testing the final product and supporting with any further ongoing work that is required.
You will work with a range of challenging stakeholders including employees of each business who will be the direct users of the end product. Due to this component you will be required to be onsite in south Auckland for some work however the bulk core project management can be done remotely.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A senior project management skillset (4+ years)
- Experience working on software development projects (having briefed and managed developers)
- Capable of eliciting, writing and working through both business and user requirements to contribute to product design
- Highly organised and able to juggle multiple projects at once
- Excellent business acumen and ability to see the bigger picture
- Experience dealing with difficult stakeholders with exceptionally high standards
- Proactive and strong ability to anticipate and raise future issues ahead of time
- Detail orientated and timeline driven
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present and able to clearly communicate complex solutions with the business
