The Role This exciting role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and effective communication to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects. As a Project Manager, you will have a vital role in overseeing the successful execution of projects, encompassing substation, underground network, and HV and LV overhead projects. This role will see you working with our design team, to ensure that all projects are fit for purpose from a design and cost perspective, ensuring no surprises, at the end of the completed scope of works. You will collaborate closely with field supervisors, overhead and underground teams, internal stakeholders and third parties to achieve the project objectives, while also mitigating potential risks that could impact project timelines. You will offer proactive assistance throughout all project stages, ensuring projects stay within budget and are finished within the designated time schedules. You will be responsible in ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and other statutory requirements that may affect the project. About You You will bring 5+ years of project management experience, (National certificate in electricity supply or degree in Electrical Engineering) particularly within the electrical distribution sector as well as comprehensive knowledge of overhead and underground networks, substations, and transformers. Your natural ability in managing multiple projects simultaneously, within a fast-paced environment, guarantees the timely completion of deadlines. You thrive in demanding situations and possess a keen ability to provide effective and efficient solutions. You will be comfortable making decisions, taking proactive action, and working autonomously. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role. We are seeking an individual with a positive and can-do attitude, who is well-organized, detail orientated, and a strong team player. What you'll bring: Proven project management within the electricity supply sector. Demonstrate sound technical awareness. Strong attention to detail for quality and H&S processes. Innovative and forward-thinking approach to each project. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Monitor and communicate project progress to all stakeholders. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
