About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive and purpose-driven Project Manager to join our Mangere Refugee Health Service – a dedicated team providing compassionate, high-quality care to one of the most diverse and resilient communities in Aotearoa.
Working closely with the Practice (Operations) Manager and Nurse Lead, you'll help design and deliver quality improvement initiatives that directly impact patient outcomes.
Your leadership will ensure clinical care is efficient, responsive, and truly patient-centred.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with no on-call or out-of-hours work required.
Free on-site parking is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and planning of each intake project to achieve high-quality, timely outcomes
Coordinate resources, staff, and interpreters to ensure patients with complex needs are prioritized and supported
Monitor project performance and drive improvements where needed
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for service enhancement and support implementation of new systems
What You'll Bring:
A tertiary qualification in health, project management or a related discipline
5+ years' experience in the health sector in a relevant role
Strong understanding of primary and public health services
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
