What's in it for me?Competitive remuneration + Health Insurance + VehicleVentia offers a supportive and inclusive work environment where you matterStable, full-time, permanent employmentAbout The RoleA fantastic opportunity now exists for a Project Manager to direct, manage, and provide oversight of assigned electrical infrastructure projects to ensure that our clients objectives are accomplished within the prescribed schedule and budget parameters.Lead and manage electrical/power distribution network projects from inception to completionDevelop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocationCoordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and operationsEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocolsMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategiesManage project documentation, including contracts, specifications, and change ordersFoster strong relationships with clients, vendors and subcontractorsConduct project reviews and post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvementAbout YouHighly motivated, you hold a professional qualification in the field of engineering and/or project management with a minimum of 5 years demonstrable experience in managing construction projects or qualification and /or experience in electrical engineering and asset management.
You thrive under pressure and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and conflicting deadlines.
Your project management experience with Transpower/Vector will be highly regarded.
You have excellent organisational and time management skills and take pride in your quest for continuous improvement!
You have a sound understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
