Veolia is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team in Queenstown for a fixed term contract - 6 months.What's on offerOpportunity to work on impactful infrastructure projectsCollaborative team environmentCommitment to sustainable development and safetyCareer growth and development opportunitiesWhat you'll be responsible forAbout the Role:As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects within our Operations & Maintenance business units.
You'll manage projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring they're completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of project delivery across water/wastewater infrastructure projectsPrepare project proposals, tender submissions, and internal approval documentationLead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliersMonitor budgets and track project progress using Earned Value AnalysisContribute to business development efforts and identify growth opportunitiesWhat you'll need to be successfulDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical or process preferred)Significant experience in water/wastewater project environmentsProven track record in design, construction, and project managementFamiliarity with project delivery models (PMI, Prince2, or Agile)Experience managing projectsStrong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment and reticulation infrastructureExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsCurrent driver's licensePersonal Attributes:Ability to assess and assimilate a wide range of information.Persistence and confidence in one's own judgement and capability.Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances, strong analytical skills and focus on quality of work.Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.Results focused team player.High degree of personal integrity.A confident and effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and interact at all levels of organisations (including corporate and large public sector organisations).If you have the experience and are looking for a fulfilling career with a global organisation, then apply today!THIS STEP IS IMPORTANTTo apply for this vacancy you MUST be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or have already secured the right to work in New Zealand and therefore hold a valid visa.
