About the Practice:
The Delivery Practice consists of pretty amazing people who work across all areas of delivery, for example Business Analysis, Change Management, and Project Management. These areas form communities within the Practice that support initiatives across ASB, helping us work in a modern way, and cultivating happy customer experiences through change and transformation.
We're doing a variety of initiatives right across all of ASB, so depending on your background, you'll be working across things like compliance, product enhancements, or business transformation including new features or changes in systems and processes - all depending on you.
About the role:
The basics of the role remain the same, which is providing project management and project delivery skills, working closely with stakeholders to help them plan and implement projects, while identifying and deploying resources, enabling a great experience and delivering a happy project outcome.
As part of the Delivery Practice community, you'll support best practice for how we should be working, and lift capability through coaching and mentoring upcoming Project Managers.
About you:
Ideally, you have knowledge of enterprise or regulated environments and can demonstrate solid skills in project management - skills like creating project plans and definitions, managing the delivery through collaboration, monitoring project delivery and its quality, reporting and relentless care over what we're trying to achieve and helping us get there.
Your mind-set will be a mix of growth, caring, and strategy that will help you build great relationships with a variety of people, coach people growing in Project Management, support Senior Project Managers, spot challenges, unpick roadblocks and able decision making.
As a starter for success, we'd love some of the following skills and experience:
Solid project management and project delivery experience, ideally in an enterprise or banking environment
Skills in modern project management methodology, covering things like people process, technology and delivery frameworks in an agile way
Experience reporting and courage communicating project process, risks, issues and status to a wide audience
It's not a must-have, but any experience in banking, treasury, governance or financial services would be real head-turners
