About the opportunityJacobs is a quality provider of Project Management services to public and private sector clients across a range of markets including Transport Infrastructure, Buildings Design and Services, Power & Energy, Water & Environment and others.
We currently have a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Project Manager in our Christchurch Integrated Project Services division. You will be exposed to a wide range of technically challenging projects and be trained and mentored to assume responsibility for the management and coordination of engineering, design, commissioning, quality, health and safety, finance and administration, and cost and schedule activities of projects. Key responsibilities of the role will include:Working as part of a local and national PM consulting team on a diverse range of projects
Provide specialist PM and possibly engineering input depending on your background, to existing and new clients across all market sectors
Monitor and report on project progress using Jacobs processes
Manage stakeholders, time and cost control to ensure projects are delivered within budget

As a PM at Jacobs you will gain exposure to a range of disciplines, allowing you to build on the specialist knowledge previously gained. The successful candidate will ideally be based in Christchurch or the immediate surrounds and have the following qualifications and experience:Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline
Significant relevant experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a consultancy environment
Hold a clean, valid driver’s licence
Have a good understanding of NZS3910 & associated contracts
Possess strong leadership skills
