Project Manager

We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company.

This is a great opportunity to play an integral role in the success of our precast division. Our Project Manager will be at the heart of the business, ensuring messaging is clear between key clients, projects and the production team. As a Civil Engineer with proven experience delivering quality projects including heavy civil/structures projects, you will have a strong understanding of what is required at the project, impacts to critical path and the challenges a project faces. Take this, combine it with the knowledge you will gain from the manufacturing site and align the two. You will effectively manage the peaks and troughs at project and production level, and successfully navigate this via exceptional communication and by creating achievable, measurable outcomes.
You are exceptional at building and maintaining strong working relationships with a range of key stakeholders, negotiating successful outcomes at all times. Your ability to gather a highly motivated team around you and drive a positive safety and quality culture will ensure your success in this role. With a demonstrated commercial ability, including cost control and programming, you have proven success with positive commercial outcomes which will be key to understanding what challenges our clients face. Finally, your ability to identify and manage both risk and opportunities will be something you will pride yourself on.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, a relevant tertiary degree, or equivalent experience
Significant project experience in heavy civil, bridges, wastewater plants and concrete materials
Strong contractual and commercial acumen
Practical skill set with an understanding of constructability drivers coupled with the ability to identify risk and opportunity
Well-honed negotiation skills, including an innate ability to know what to push for and when
Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage great relationships with clients and stakeholders
A passion to succeed in business with a strong commercial acumen
Excellent leadership and mentorship qualities.
