Project Manager

Christchurch, CanterburyAbout the Team: Based in Christchurch, this is a Software Project Management position in the FIS Ambit Asset Finance team. You’ll be bringing together multiple onsite and offshore teams together to deliver project work to a major client.
What you will be doing:
Project Manage feature development on the FIS Ambit Asset Finance product
Project Manage across the full software development lifecycle on major project
Resolve critical issues to provide better output for the teams
Identify and allocate technical resources and manage interdependencies
Forecast resource needs based on an analysis of client spend
Coordinate with multiple project managers and plan a backlog to meet the client schedule
What you will have:
Experience project managing complex software projects
Expertise in higher level technical project management to keep project managers and associated teams on task and focused on output
Skill in leading, supervising and managing effectively under pressure
Comfortable within a Microsoft .Net technology environment
Strong communication skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships
Client facing experience with business commercial acumen
Added bonus if you have:
Experience in a financial project environment
Accounting background or knowledge
