Details of the offer

People work at Wellington Water because they want to make a difference, and that means you will be helping to look after our most precious assets: water, human health and welfare, and the environment so our communities can prosper.
Reporting to the Manager Major Projects within the Network Development and Delivery Group, you'll be responsible for delivering one or more of Wellington Water's major large scale capital projects through our consultancy and contractor network safely, on time and on budget. Leading contract negotiation processes and ongoing contract management of major projects, you will ensure a robust project methodology is in place, projects are managed effectively and the community is fully engaged. You will work collaboratively with other teams and ensure strong integration across Wellington Water. You will develop strong relationships at community, stakeholder and executive levels.
You will bring best practice processes to the management, planning, design and implementation of projects and programs using commercial acumen and expert project delivery capability. You have proven leadership experience and a strong commercial edge to your career which will see you being a trusted adviser for and within Wellington Water. Being an exceptional negotiator, you possess a sound project management approach and the ability to manage projects of large scale or of high reputational risk.
