Project Director

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

There is an immediate need for a Project Director to oversee the project from design through to completion of construction. As Project Director you will have complete oversight of the project to ensure successful delivery. You will offer governance and leadership to an internal team covering financial, project management, projects coordination and communications etc. Externally you will work closely with designers, consultants and contractors to make sure the delivery is aligned with the vision of the client. As an education project there will also be a need for on-going consultation with schools and the local community. As Project Director you will be the direct point of contact throughout the process to make sure all involved are kept up to date with the process and project status.

A degree or equivalent qualification in construction or related field
A minimum of 15 years' experience in the commercial construction field
Proven experience of project management methodologies and management skills
Experience of managing a professional team to achieve excellent results
Proven commercial and contractual acumen
Excellent man management and relationship skills
