Contribute to safer workplace for members of the LGBTIQA+ communityWork across two organisations who pride themselves on fostering inclusivityGain a deeper understanding of issues queer people face in workplacesAbout the Project Coordinator roleThe Project Coordinator for Being Valued will be a key contributor to our mission of fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for the LGBTIQA+ community. Utilise your lived experience as an LGBTIQA+ individual to enhance community engagement while you conduct research, engage in outreach activities, and coordinate projects aligning with organisational goals and timelines.Reporting to the Program Manager, Being Valued this is a 12 month fixed-term, part-time role (.6 FTE) based across two organisations. Travel to Northcote and St. Kilda offices will be required. Flexible working arrangement available.This is an identified role for a person of the LGBTIQA+ community.Your Passion and Commitment will see you:Conduct academic research exploring LGBTIQA+ peoples experience within workplaces.Coordinate projects, events and activities that promote inclusivity and community empowerment within the LGBTIQA+ community.Collect and analyse data to measure the impact of projects.To succeed in this role you will have:Lived experience as an LGBTIQA+ person is essential.Strong research skills (experience completing academic research at university level is desired but not essential)Strong coordination skillsStrong written and verbal communicationStrong organisational skillsFor further information about this role, please refer to the position description.YourCH Culture & BenefitsYourCH has fostered an organisation-wide supportive and diverse team that allows staff to bring their whole self to work, both personally and professionally.
