About us
Education Infrastructure Service (EIS), a part of the Ministry of Education, creates and supports safe, healthy, inspiring and ICT enabled learning environments. EIS manages the Crown's second largest property portfolio of around 2,500 schools with a book value of $17.8 billion, is responsible for the largest payroll in the country, and transports over 100,000 students to and from school each day.
About the role
As part of the Governments investment to future proof school property nearly every state school will receive a capital injection next year to bring forward urgent school property improvements. The one-off cash injection is the first project to be announced from the Government's infrastructure package, future proofing the economy and will see some schools receive up to $400,000 to spend on needed upgrades that have been put on the back burner.
The Project Coordinator provides efficient and effective planning, reporting, documentation, data management, and administration to support the Infrastructure Delivery Group to deliver the School Investment Package and other stimulus projects.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
Proactively track and monitor progress and information from internal and external stakeholders to support successful project/programme delivery
Coordination and administrative support for specific projects, programmes and initiatives as required
Data analysis, basic reporting and analysis for specific projects, programmes and initiatives as required
Produce project reporting against key milestones
Act as a point of contact with internal and external stakeholders for projects
Proactively track and monitor progress and information from internal and external stakeholders to support successful project/programme delivery

About you
It is essential that you have relevant experience in providing administrative / coordination support in a project or programme environment.
You will also offer:
A self-directed and proactive approach with excellent time management and the ability to juggle several tasks and deadlines at once
Excellent relationship skills and the ability to facilitate conversations about projects
Good written and oral communications skills
The ability to make sound decisions within short timeframes, be adaptable and use initiative.
