* JOB DESCRIPTION:
TVNZ have Digital and Data at the forefront of their strategic objectives and are in flight for delivering on their Core Media Systems Investment Programme. In this role you will be at the forefront of this programme working with the project team to deliver on TVNZ's digital transformation.
The Opportunity - Te turanga:
The Project Administrator plays a pivotal role in delivering high quality project co-ordination and administration throughout the project life cycle. This role provides essential support to the Project Managers, across a stream of projects supporting planning, & communication and will actively contribute to the smooth execution of the projects.
Key responsibilities include facilitating project activities, coordinating project tasks including risk and issue register maintenance, reporting, minutes, diary management, following up project team on open actions, document management and managing specific aspects of individual projects as required. The Project Administrator will support senior members of the Project team, assisting with the oversight and administration of the broader programme. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented approach to ensure alignment with project timelines, deliverables, and organisational goals.
This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
What We're Looking For - Ta matou e kimi nei:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following
* 2-3 years' experience in administrative or coordinator roles, within a project-focused environment, preferably Technology
* Exposure to SharePoint, OneDrive, or other document management platforms, and familiar with Jira/Confluence and MS Project.
* High level of organisational skills and able to manage conflicting deadlines with ease and grace
* Ability to collect and present project data (e.g., status reports, risk logs, and financial reports).
* Expertise in managing project documentation, including version control, access permissions, and secure storage.
* Experience working in a high paced environment and ability to adapt
* Understanding of project governance frameworks, audit trails, and quality assurance processes
* Clear effective communication, both written and verbal with a wide range of stakeholders
