Details of the offer

KASC located in West Auckland is a positive and exciting place to work. Our programmes are recreation based and aim to meet the needs of primary school aged children in a fun, safe, learning environment.
Our team is made up of skilled, dedicated people who care about the children in their care. Programme Managers are responsible for the leadership of the team and implementation of the KASC daily format according to all operating procedures, standards, guidelines and policies.
Hours of work are a total of 30 hours per week during term time and 35 hours during school holidays.
Term time hours are comprised of:
7.5 hours Before School Care (7:00-8:30am Monday - Friday)
17.5 hours After School Care (2.30-6.00pm Monday-Friday)
Plus 5 hours for administration, training and meetings

Programme Managers will have the following skills and experience:
Excellent people management and relationship skills
Strong planning and organisational skills
NZ experience in managing before & after school care and holiday programme
Experience in working with primary school age children (ideally in an educational setting)

KASC is committed to Child Protection and the safeguarding of children and young people in our care and it is our expectation that all staff will operate in a way that reflects this intent. The successful application will need to submit a Police Vetting Form and must return with satisfactory results before start of employment.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
Applicants must have a clean NZ driver’s licence.
