The Global Coordinating Centre (GCC) of the GVDN is hosted by UniServices and leads the client- and funder-facing activities of the multi-country, investigator-led consortium.Job Description1 year fixed term, full timeA blend of office and work from homeHealth sector experience highly desirableThe opportunityWe seek a Programme Coordinator preferably with a health background or knowledge and academic research coordination to join our team for a 1 year fixed term full time.
The role provides crucial support to the Global Vaccine Data Network (GVDN) Global Coordinating Centre (GCC) and its offshore partner sites.
You will need to be flexible with your availability for occasional early morning and evening meetings held globally.As the intermediary for all projects, you will support the coordination across the GCC.
You will build and maintain relationships with project teams and site partners globally.
You will have a keen eye for innovation and technology to maximise efficiencies in your work.Ideally you will have a general understanding of epidemiology and population health medical terms and have experience with complex environments and projects.
An advantage would be a strength in project portfolio management (PPM) systems.Key responsibilities:Coordinate meetings globally across multiple time zones.Produce meeting agendas in collaboration with chairs and members of the GCC.Develop meeting notes/minutes for relevant meetings supported by AI tools.Derive agreed meeting actions, assign, track and follow up progress.Support proposal development, project planning and execution.Plan and coordinate workshops and events within budget.Provide team/collaborator-centric service and support.QualificationsYour skills and experience:It is essential for you to hold:Diploma or equivalent professional qualification.Strong competencies in MS Office suite including Teams, Zoom, Doodle, SharePoint, PPM and AI apps.Strong skills in meeting coordination, scheduling, agenda generation, technical hosting, recording, archiving, distribution of meeting outputs/minutes/transcripts.Ability to work within a complex environment, to identify key tasks/issues and priorities.Extremely high standard level of communication both written, oral and collaboration and problem-solving.Only applicants with the right to work in New Zealand will be considered.Additional InformationWhat we offer:Great benefits, including 5 weeks annual leave, up to 6.75% company superannuation scheme, eye-testing & glasses subsidies, access to discounts on health insurance & gym memberships, and long-service recognition.
