TVNZ is embarking on two-year period of significant change business wide.

We have begun our exciting digital transformation programme, which will provide the organisation with the capability to change how we deliver services, collaborate, and create value. This role will contribute to driving organisational change by leading effective and cohesive communication across all workstreams making up our digital transformation programme.

The opportunity - Te turanga

You will be pivotal in developing and implementing a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the programme's wider objectives. By crafting clear, consistent messaging and establishing feedback mechanisms, this role will enhance stakeholder engagement, facilitate information flow between diverse stakeholders and help mitigate resistance to change. In addition, the role will contribute to fostering a collaborative environment, which supports successful execution of each workstream within the broader programme.

Although reporting directly to the Head of Change, the work will be done within the cross-functional programme team and in close collaboration with the GM, Corporate Comms on a dotted line reporting basis

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

To be successful, we are looking for

* Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
* 5+ years in a similar internal communications role, with proven expertise in managing the communication needs of multiple concurrent change projects within a transformational program.
* Understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, Kotter, or similar frameworks) is highly desirable.
* Ability to craft clear and compelling messages and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
* Thrives in dynamic environments and effectively manages ambiguity and change.
* Maintains energy and positivity while working under pressure.
