Job Summary
Our Civil Infrastructure team based is looking for a Professional level Geometric Designer to join our well established Transportation Team based in Auckland. In this role you will be working with experience Designers on a range of medium and large projects nationally as well as Australia.
The Role:
-Roadway design including quantity optimization through horizontal and vertical alignments
-Intersection and round-about design
-Drainage reviews
-Contract documentation preparation
-Cost and quantity estimating
-Occasional drafting
-Participate in technical meetings
-Develop efficient and safe transport solutions
-Undertake geometric design using 12D and other design tools
-Undertake drawing production using AutoCAD
-Contribute to a complete and integrated set of project documents by working co-operatively with team members
Minimum Requirements
About You:
-3- 5 years working in a similar role and have a good working knowledge of relevant design standards
-12D expertise is desired with a fundamental understanding of MX
-Good level of experience on 12d, MX and AutoCAD
-Civil Transportation / Roading background
-Proactive approach to work load planning with the ability to meet deadlines
-Experience in Civil3D, Microstation and InRoads an additional advantage
Preferred Qualifications
-Relevant Engineering Degree
