Electron is one of the world's most frequently-launched rockets, and our team behind its success are diligent, move fast, and have each other's back to deliver a reliable rocket to the launch pad time and time again.WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:Operating vibration tables and vacuum chambersWork with Development Engineers on space flight hardware, reaction wheels & spacecraftSupport Neutron R&D testing of flight and development hardwareCryogenic & gaseous support test equipmentPrecision inspection of mechanical componentsYOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:Must be able to demonstrate 2+ years of relevant industry experienceFamiliarity with the operation of vibe/shaker tableExperience with compiling concise and accurate test reportsPrecision mechanical and/or electrical assembly experienceHands on, comfortable working with basic toolsComfortable working to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen serviceHave a good level of eyesight and be able to inspect assemblies to a high workmanship standardTHESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:Trade qualified in Automotive, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Fitter/Turner or similarExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenThe ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomouslyAble to read, understand and follow manufacturing instructions and drawingsA high work ethic, always seeking more responsibilityTakes initiative and remains calm under pressureComputer literate, and comfortable using smartphones and tabletsIf the above sounds like you apply now!WHAT TO EXPECT:We're on a mission to unlock the potential of space to improve life on Earth, but that's not an easy task.
