Production Technician

We are seeking a self-motivated Production Technician to join our team at Nexans factory situated in Bell Block, New Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities include:
Setting up and running production batches on rotating machinery
Quality control and record keeping
Continuous improvement initiatives as required
Meeting internal and external compliance standards
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A mechanical aptitude
The ability to read, interpret and apply job instructions
A sound understanding of health and safety systems and processes
To be reliable, hardworking and committed
To have the ability to cope under pressure in a busy but friendly team environment
The successful applicant will be required to undertake shift work and some overtime when requested.
