How will you make an impact?
From leading the team to manufacture sterile liquid and freeze dried powder products for use in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry that is scientific in nature by following established protocols and instructions.
What will you do?
Guide your team to complete day-to-day production activities in conformance with specifications, standard operating procedures, and cGMP/ISO principles.
To be the delegate to the Production Supervisor when required.
Lead daily stand up meeting (Tier 1) and escalate issues as appropriate
Co-ordinate the workload and workflow of the team and perform all tasks of a Manufacturing Technician as production demands.
Assess and ensure all staff are trained to the level of competency required prior to hands-on task involvement.
Ensure training records are current and maintained in conjunction with Production Supervisor.
Ensure in-process sampling and monitoring is completed to assure batches meet specification.
Review and complete Batch Manufacturing Record, ensuring that all information is accurate, legible and correct to guarantee traceability.
Communicate production issues and potential solutions to Production Supervisor as they arise.
Review and/or revise manufacturing documentation including batch manufacturing records and standard operating procedures.
Lead, assist and participate investigations, projects and validation as required.
Actively participate in EHS system by adhering to policies and procedures and reporting hazards to ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment.
Solve moderate to complex problems within process guidelines and guide others to do the same.
Lead and participate in PPI activities as appropriate and regularly utilizes continuous improvement methodologies in daily work.
