About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Archgola Ltd in Silverdale, Auckland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a small powder coating team to ensure the efficient and high-quality production of our industry-leading outdoor living solutions. This is also a hands-on role with early starts and early finishes Monday to Friday.What you'll be doingOversee the day-to-day operation of the powder coating team, including scheduling, task allocation, and monitoring of performance and quality.Undertake powder coating activities as part of the team.Provide hands-on leadership and coaching to team members to maintain high standards of quality and productivity.Troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.Ensure all health, safety, and environmental policies are followed to protect our team and minimize risks.Liaise with other departments to coordinate production activities and deliver to the schedule on time.Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the supply chain team to maintain adequate stock.Provide regular feedback and development opportunities to team members.What we're looking forProven experience in a production/manufacturing team leader role.Powder coating experience would be an advantage.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges efficiently.Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.A good level of physical fitness as this role includes hands-on manual tasks.Understanding of production processes, inventory management, and workplace health and safety.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.What we offerAt Archgola Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our team.
