An exciting immediate opportunity for a Production Supervisor is required to join our established Production team based in our Christchurch plant and to compliment our existing leadership team.In this position you will be responsible for leading a production shift within the print department, delivering high quality label outcomes, outstanding productivity performance and identifying improvement opportunities. Responsibilities include: Controls and supervises production processes or production sections on a shift. Maintains agreed schedules and supervises the flow of materials and the handling of products and processes. Directs daily production and scheduled maintenance. Investigates production variance and initiates corrective action. Quality standard practices & maintaining quality assurance records Selects, trains and develops on various print machines Undertake performance reviews. About you Proven ability in supervising and leading a team will be an advantage, but not essential. Experience of Print Technology Experience with high embellished labels will be an advantage but not essential. A strong safety focus as well as a strong focus on quality of work Work with minimal supervision Exceptional organisation and planning skills, process driven and with the ability to manage competing priorities with compromising quality Eligible New Zealand working rights.
