We achieve success through innovation, technology and dedication to our customers.The opportunity!Based at our successful Christchurch manufacturing plant, the Supervisor role is an important one that requires hands on operational capability. You will run a team of approximately 15 Glass Processing operators on the afternoon shift from 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday to Friday.Our ideal candidate will have leadership experience, a natural ability to influence and motivate others to do their best everyday as well as be results driven and a hunger to succeed. We are a fast paced made to order business with tight lead times. You will have a knack for balancing operational commitments and the needs of the customer so that neither is compromised and you will achieve this through the running of a smooth operation.What you're there to do:Lead decision making throughout the entirety of your shift, regardless of labour, machinery and other operational issuesDrive throughput and qualityProblem solve issues and address issues quicklyChampion health and safety and complianceSkills, characteristics & experience you'll bring:Trade or degree qualifications in manufacturing or engineering is desirable however not essentialPrevious experience in a manufacturing operations environment, leading a teamHave accountability - own your decisions and actionsDemonstrated knowledge of CI methodology and mindsetHow to apply:We want to hear from you!
