The Role
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Production Supervisor with a can-do attitude at our facility in Marrickville. The role is Full Time and will be working primarily within our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for supervising, leading and managing our production teams to ensure that products are manufactured, packed and despatched to the highest levels of quality whilst driving GMP compliance and production efficiencies. Our manufacturing operation runs from 530am to 9pm and it is vital that you have the flexibility to work across the span of our operations as required.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and co-ordinating team leaders and production staff to ensure efficient, safe and quality-compliant manufacturing of products.
Plan, and manage production to ensure smooth operations within budget whilst minimising waste.
Drive and ensure compliance with Food Quality, Safety, GMP process and documentation across our production facility
Ensure compliance with equipment start up and maintenance procedures to minimise downtime and breakdowns.
Monitor and review production staff performance and operational performance.
Identify and implement opportunities for improvements in production processes and procedures
Experience
3+ years of relevant FMCG/bakery manufacturing experience at the production supervisor level.
Knowledge of HACCP and food industry QA requirements essential
High attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
A 'can do' positive attitude to achieve successful outcomes.
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships and lead a team.
Intermediate Computer skills (Word, Excel, Global Bake ERP system preferred)
Flexibility to work a five-day shift over the span of our operations essential
