Production Planning and Logistics Coordinator Winstone Pulp InternationalOhakune, ManawatuProduction, Planning & Scheduling (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Winstone Pulp International Limited (WPI) has two operational sites in the Central North Island that manufacture wood pulp products (Karioi Pulpmill) and sawn timber (Tangiwai Sawmill) from renewable plantation pine for domestic and export markets.Karioi Pulpmill produces 220,000 air dried metric ton of high yield Bleached Chemical Thermomechanical Pulp (BCTMP). The pulp is despatched from our warehouse by rail to the Napier Port for export.About the roleThe Planning and Logistics Coordinator plays an integral role in the smooth operation of the manufacturing process, serving as a linchpin between departments to ensure production schedules are met.Primarily responsible for two areas;Monitor pulp production and inventory levels to meet customer orders, in spec and on time.Coordinate freight movements by rail from site to the Napier port.The Planning and Logistics Coordinator will provide cover for the Sales and Shipping Support Coordinator role. This is a full time, permanent opportunity. Workdays are generally Monday – Friday.About YouCandidate requirements include;Significant, relevant experience within the manufacturing or logistics sector.Demonstrated success in relationship management of a team, the wider organisation and external stakeholders.Efficient administrator and an exceptional communicator.Demonstrated competence in the use of Microsoft Office and customised software solutions.Knowledge of international export compliance and regulations, customs procedures would be advantageous.Can work to set timeframes, problem solve and remain agile in an unpredictable environment.Demonstrated awareness of, and utilisation of, workplace Health and Safety systems.Restricted (at minimum) New Zealand driver's license and reliable personal transport.The ability to multi-task, think on your feet and effectively decision make is essential to success in this role.About usWPI is committed to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
