About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team at the Wiri Bakery. This part-time, permanent role involves creating and maintaining an efficient production schedule to meet supply demands. You will work 16 hours per week, specifically on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, at our Wiri location.


Key accountabilities of this position include:

* Develop and maintain production schedule documents.
* Analyze labor, plant, equipment, and other resource outputs and trends.
* Maintain rosters for production, despatch, and distribution.
* Regularly review and monitor production line speeds and outputs.
* Update master and plant-specific production schedules as directed by the Production & Despatch Manager.
* Assist in developing long-term production plans.
* Engage with internal customers to ensure at-risk SKUs are promptly available for distribution.
* Participate in various projects and initiatives.

About You:


* Someone with high level of enthusiasm and drive
* A person with 3 years + experience in FMCG manufacturing background
* Previous background in the Production planner role would be advantageous
* Someone with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
* Advanced knowledge of Excel
* Self-organised, with a continuous improvement mindset
* Someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently
* Previous experience with SAP would be highly regarded
