How you'll make an impact:
From maximizing production efficiency, throughput and improving customer experience by taking ownership of the production plan.
What will you do?
Prepare production plan for local and export customers using Syteline MRP and Masterpack computer programmes.
Maintain Syteline safety stocks and data to reflect changing customer demand.
Ensure adequate inventory levels of finished goods and components to meet KPI's.
Optimise machine efficiency to recover manufacturing costs.
Liaise with purchasing to ensure raw materials are scheduled on time for production.
Provide effective and regular reporting, analysis and commentary with recommendations for improvement.
Participate in rolling and annual stock takes for finished goods and Work In Progress.
Lead and participate in PPI activities (Kaizens and JDIs) as appropriate and regularly utilizes continuous improvement methodologies in daily work.
Provide back-up support to MRP coordinator and inventory controller.
Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned to contribute to the efficient operation of the team and business.
Actively participate in EHS system by adhering to policies and procedures and reporting hazards to ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment.
How will you get here?
Education
Related Supply Chain/Business tertiary qualification desirable.
?ExperienceMinimum 2-3 years planning experience in a FMCG supply chain environment.
Skills &Attributes
Tech savvy and able to demonstrate ability in MRP systems and production planning or related role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
