Production Planner

T&G is a significant apple grower in New Zealand with over 800 hectares of orchards in Hawkes Bay and Nelson. With ambitious strategic growth aspirations backed by significant capital investment, the company is one of the largest apple exporters in NZ with postharvest sites in Hawkes Bay, Nelson and Otago.
We have an opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to take on an additional permanent position as a Production Planner based in Hastings within the Global Planning and Logistics team at T&G.
This is a diverse and challenging role where you will be responsible for effectively planning packhouse production to deliver apples to our global customer base on time and in specification.
The successful candidate will have:
A qualification in business and commerce (or other relevant discipline)
5 years' experience in production planning
Ideally experience in the horticultural industry
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated analytical and reporting experience
The ability to build effective relationships with growers and packers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of computer literacy including MS Excel and ideally experience using SAP or an alternative ERP system.
The ability to work flexible hours as seasonal demands change
The ability to travel as required
