Job Description
The Production Operator is an entry-level position in a fast paced production facility with focus on the execution of our canned cocktail program in addition to multiple areas within our brewery. The Production Operator is a physically intensive role that requires exceptional motivation, a true passion for craft beer, craft cocktails, and scheduling flexibility. This position reports to the Production Lead and ultimately to the Quality and Production Brewmaster. This individual will also take direction from the Packaging Managers and Leads.
Understands and adheres to safety standards (SOPs, Risk Assessments, PPE)
Understands and adheres to quality standards (Food Safety, GMPs, Quality Checks)
Perform manual repacking of our products as required
Operate packaging department equipment depending on the production schedule
Assists/performs preventative maintenance routines as designated by management
Assist in troubleshooting effort of equipment problems within the department
Cleans and maintains bottling, kegging, and canning facilities and equipment (5S)
Alerts the shift leader or other management to potential quality and safety concerns
Coordinates with multiple departments as required to efficiently package the highest quality products
Follows SOPs to safely and efficiently execute all tasks in the brewery

Proper use of Personal Protection Equipment
Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Ability to work at a fast pace and in high pressure situations
Strong attention to detail
Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic, and self-starting attitude and solid interpersonal skills and team orientation

Ability to utilize computers from communication, data entry, and project based work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Prior experience in a Packaging environment preferred
Ability to work on your feet for 10 hours or more
Ability to work second shift when necessary
Fork lift certified, or ability to obtain one soon after hiring
Must be able to work around steam, electricity, harsh chemicals, and solvents
Flexibility to work day, afternoon, or midnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
Mechanical background preferred
High School Diploma required
The Production Operator requires successful completion of pre-employment background check, driving records, and drug screen. Ability to work nights and weekends due to business needs.
