Production Manager

Production Manager Position at Altherm Northland Altherm Northland are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to join our busy team in Whangarei to organise and manage the production of top-quality Aluminium joinery. Key responsibilities include: Monitor, maintain and up-date planning schedules for production to meet delivery dates via our factory management software. Liaise with our project managers, factory foreman, installers and builders to plan and achieve the required production dates. Ensure materials have been ordered and received before production starts to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted production flow. Managing the ordering and receiving of inventory stock. Generate regular production reports, analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide recommendations for improvement to senior management. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency enhancements. Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles. Your key attributes would be: Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Strong leadership , with proven experience in developing teams to deliver successful results. Self-motivated and self-managing. Strong in Interpersonal , verbal, and written communication skills. Able to lead continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in using production management software and tools. Proven experience in a leadership role within aluminium joinery manufacturing or a similar industry would be a great advantage. A positive, energetic and enthusiastic approach to your work.
