ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client has been in business for over 60 years and are the leading supplier to the domestic market of New Zealand providing Curtains, Roman Blinds & Soft Furnishings through the Retail Trade and Interior Designers along with the Commercial Trade through Architects and Construction Companies.  ABOUT THE ROLE The role reports directly into the Directors and you will be working with the GM of Soft Furnishings and Commercial Manager along with Suppliers and customers. The Production Manager will be an excellent leader who inspires, supports and motivates the team to deliver exceptional results. This is achieved through a professional, ethical and persuasive approach to achieving standards and targets for all manufacturing activities.  ABOUT YOU Ideally, you'll have previous production management experience in a manufacturing environment. You'll revel in the challenge of effectively and accurately managing your time to continually deliver your production targets on time. Being a great communicator you will also have the below attributes; Have a proven track record of hitting production targets Had experience in HR and Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment Enjoy the satisfaction that great time management brings Lead by example, results driven, strong decision making skills You love the busy working environment and great team atmosphere  Strong time management skills  Excellent commercial acumen Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test Ministry of Justice background check is part of the process  SOUND LIKE YOU?
