A unique opportunity to be part of and make a difference in this very successful and innovative manufacturer of household brands of bodycare products and more This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hands on Production Manager to join their team in their busy manufacturing site They can offer you career prospects and growth with a company that is continuously evolving Your main focus will be to coordinate the efficient throughput of manufactured product to meet customer needs Nationally and Internationally and oversee the companies standards of quality Health and Safety and GMP Your key responsibilities will be Managing and overseeing the production team schedules packing compounding quality and other related areas Continuing to create a positive culture within the plant through solid leadership Oversee all Health and Safety matters for the company Forecast labour equipment materials and supplies to meet production goals Manage train recruit appropriate staff to facilitate optimum operation Improve and implement new production processes and strategies with a focus on Continuous Improvement Manage preventative maintenance program Skills and experience Previous experience in a Production Management role within the manufacturing environment of Food Cosmetic Pharmaceutical or other related industries A strong background in Lean optimisation A passion for Health and Safety Analytical skills to interpret information and figures with excellent problem solving skills Excellent leadership skills and a high level of motivation and drive Exceptionally strong interpersonal communication skills A position description is available but it would be great to talk about the opportunity so if you are interested please give us a call on 09 320 4238 or apply online now
