This role involves performing preventive maintenance, calibration as well as troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite.
This role contributes to the Production Manufacturing team in Napier.
Main stakeholders include the IPU (Integrated Production Unit) Leader, Planning and Fulfilment Team, Manufacturing Engineers, and the Quality and Production Development Team.
You will be mainly accountable for:Maintenance planning & reliability improvement: Define maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities and consult on improving equipment reliability, maintainability, and safety.Troubleshooting & technical problem solving: Solve major technical, equipment, or facility issues to enhance production line performance and minimize disruptions.Process & efficiency optimization: Propose and implement improvement projects to reduce maintenance needs and optimize operational and energy efficiency.Preventive & emergency maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns and malfunctions, and ensure spare parts for critical equipment are available.Equipment management & safety compliance: Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining accurate records.Our team is collaborative, focusing on efficient problem-solving, mutual support, and maintaining high-quality standards to meet production goals.
