Production, Planning & Scheduling (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)  As the Production Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects by organizing and overseeing various aspects of production. You will be responsible for assigning and tracking daily tasks, facilitating communication among team members, and generating reports for project managers and the management team.Key Responsibilities:Provide documentation and support to stakeholders, project managers, working groups, and the Obelisk projects and management team.Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of project scope, escalation processes, and industry best practices.Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure project delivery success.Clarify project priorities, identify risks, and escalate issues that cannot be internally resolved.Ensure the use of StruMIS production flow systems to record tracking data through fabrication and painting processes.Maintain quality control systems to ensure the acceptability of finished goods and prevent the manufacturing or delivery of non-conforming products.Ensure timely delivery of completed components to project locations.Oversee detailed documentation and review reports.Ensure that resources and equipment are available as needed.Facilitate clear communication among team members and lead day-to-day production requirements.Keep internal department workflow and tracking documents up to date.What you need to be successful in this role:Proven experience in production coordination or a similar role.Structural steel and or steel construction industry knowledge.Strong understanding of project management principles and industry best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in using production management software (e.g., StruMIS).Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.A sound knowledge of New Zealand Health and Safety or industry relevant Health and Safety processes.In return, you will be rewarded with a generous salary and a unique opportunity to work with a very successful company that has robust Visions and Values.Join our team and be part of a company that values innovation, teamwork, and excellence in everything we do.
