Production And Manufacturing Assistant

We are a New Zealand based technology company that designs, manufactures and exports niche smart products based around clever IT. We need a practical, technology oriented tertiary student to help us make these products for delivery to our NZ and overseas customers.
Your main job responsibilities will involve:
Manufacturing and assembly of our three main products: Smartalock, Airconsole and Floorsense.

Testing and packaging of those products

Assisting our delivery manager to pre-configure and set up smart locker banks / desk units for delivery and installation to our NZ and Australian clients

Our ideal employee is a self motivated, reliable, hard worker who likes working with their hands. The job would suit an Engineering, IT or Comp Sci student or any student that has a bent towards technology.
You would work at our offices in central Auckland, close to Auckland Uni. We have flexible working hours between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday so you can fit work around your studies. We already have 4 university students working for us.
You can work between 8-15 hours per week, depending on the hours you want to work (i.e. what your study schedule can accommodate etc) and customer demand for Cloudstore’s products which fluctuates over time. Ideally you would be able start with us over the summer holiday period when your studies have finished for this year - i.e. Nov/Dec to end of Feb.
You will be paid $20 per hour, including holiday pay. ($18.60 gross per hour, plus 8% holiday pay which we pay on a pay as you go basis).
