Open to Wellington or Auckland locations The Opportunity:Our International Product and Solutions team manage end-to-end products and services including global network management across a hybrid postal and commercial network. This is a newly created role that will take control of formalising the freight offers and ensuring New Zealand Post is known as a viable freight operator.
What will you be doing?
As Product Manager - Freight Returns Warehouse and Digital (FRWD) you will define and build the offshore proposition for using onshore warehousing capability and will be responsible to build offshore capability to sell to exporters. It will formalise the existing Returns and Reverse Logistics services into a simple offer and drive its sale and lastly it will take ownership of the operational structure of the international digital services.
Your role and will ensure revenue and growth targets are met or exceeded, ensure regulatory compliance, help drive strategies to better target customers through effective management of the portfolio and its emerging opportunities.
This is a diverse portfolio which means your stakeholder relationships with teams like our Sales; Freight, Marketing, Technology, capability and regulatory are crucial. You will also work with departments such as customs and MPI.
We'd love you to have a few of the following:
Product management experience across all aspects of the product lifecycle - ideally across a broad range of products and/or services and ideally across a wide range of channels and markets.
B2B/B2C marketing experience required.
Evidence of successful implementation of pricing strategies for new or existing services and evidence of the understanding of risks associated with pricing decisions;
Experience managing a business portfolio (P&L), services and/or customer segment propositions
Proven success effective internal and external customer relationships at a senior level
Ideally knowledge of the global Postal and Courier industry, including an understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
