You must be able to demonstrate;Good communication and organisation skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyAn eye for product and the latest trends and fashionPrevious experience with product development is an advantageExperience with textile items in advantageAbility to travel approx. 3-4 weeks per year Key core competencies include;Product Development - Work under the supervision of the Project Manager to coordinate and execute product development plans and projectsProduct Design – Work with suppliers to design products that are suitable for our market.
Improve the products functionality or its ability to be printedProduct Reports - Complete the product development within allocated budgets and time frames, keeping all necessary documentation and information up to date for the Product Manager to access when requiredProduct Compliance - Ensure products adhere to compliance and certification requirements outlined by the Product Quality and Compliance OfficerProduct Improvements - Improve existing product designs based on customer feedback and market trendsNew Product Introduction – Assist in the product information process by confirming all details such as BOM, images, website data, wires and advising if the product has been tested to ensure the product is production readyProduct Information – Maintain the New Products Database so that it is current and correct so that other team members can access all new products on order and information relevant to them This is a great opportunity to be part of a phenomenal organisation and be truly supported in doing so.
