As a member of our product team, you will play a key role in how we understand and use our data to deliver amazing experiences in our product.
We're looking for an innovative thinker to join the team as a Product Data Analyst! What you'll do:
You'll help the business understand how our customers use our products through data mining, data management, descriptive and predictive analytics, machine learning and visualisation. Analyse customer behaviour to identify patterns and improve our models, hands-on research and design, implement the right algorithms/models to create new data-driven products for out customers. Get to work with other teams across the business to help collect data and uncover insights that inform product & roadmap decisions.
What you need to be successful in this role:
You'll have a mixture of experience with data analytics/data science. To you it may be in the form of data wrangling, using data science to run experiments, building models to understand and predict behaviour and sharing results in a compelling way.
This could include experience such as:
-Wrangling data from multiple sources, using tools including SQL, Python and R
-Web analytics, including tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.
-BI Tools, especially Microstrategy or Power BI
-Technical writing and documentation
-"Big data" tools, such as Apache Spark and Amazon EMR
-Data mining, statistical modeling and data visualisation
-Machine Learning (especially Python/scikit-learn) would be a big plus!
You probably have a qualification and/or strong experience in applying statistics, mathematics, analytics to solve problems. Most importantly, you'll be able to demonstrate innovative ways to gather and display data and analytics in a meaningful way, to provide insights and add value.
