Produce Assistant - New World Greymouth

Here at New World Greymouth we are looking for a full time Produce Assistant to come and join the team to help provide our customers with the best and freshest produce in town.
The position of produce assistant involves:
Planning,
Organisational skills,
Leadership and helping with the day to day operations of the Department.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
Computer literate
Developed Organisation skills
A dedicated and conscientious approach
Effective Interpersonal skills
An ability to effectively communicate at all levels
Attention to detail
A dedication to customer service
Open to improving your knowledge of fresh fruit and vegetables to pass on to our customers
Key responsibilities are:
Ensuring store standards of presentation are maintained
Maintaining pricing and retail perception
Being aware and practicing Food and Health & Safety requirements
Managing stock rotation and Waste control
Meeting the Stores standards in Customer services
Having a knowledge of NZQA standards where required
Punctuality, honesty, reliability
Tasting, preparing, packaging, merchandising and selling of our fresh fruit and vegetables in the produce department.
There are also daily cleaning tasks to be completed by all staff members.
