Here you'll collaborate with business partners and review & guide projects from concept through to delivery of production equipment for new and existing products. You'll help develop new and existing mould tool specifications, communicate with external tool vendors during the tool design, build and testing phases.
You'll be involved in reviewing mould tool concepts and developing optimal plastic moulding processes, to ensure appropriate solutions are reliable and robust, resulting in high quality components and moulding processes. Build up your skills and you will develop and implement new innovative moulding technologies to help us produce a wider range of production capable processes; this includes reviewing the specification and managing the implement of moulding machinery and ancillaries.
Key skills:
Some technical knowledge in selection of plastic materials, injection moulding process setup, mould tool specification and strong understanding of various polymer material properties
2 years+ experience in the engineering industry
Mechanical Engineering degree, Diploma, Advanced Trade Cert or relevant industry experience
Solid-works CAD and project implementation is an advantage
Experience with machine robot setup and troubleshooting is an advantage
