Practice Nurse - Medplus Takapuna

Job Description

MedPlus is looking for an experienced, clinically excellent RN for a permanent position (FTE negotiable) working across their two clinics at Hauraki Corner, Takapuna, and their newly opened Devonport clinic.

Founded and operated by experienced doctors, MedPlus aims to provide excellence in healthcare services. Their modern clinics comprise a general practice, MedPlus Pharmacy, MedPlus Physiotherapy, Auckland Radiology (for x-rays and ultrasound scans) plus a full range of allied medical healthcare providers including a psychologist, a midwife, and specialists.
They are looking for a practice nurse who can fit easily into the team, so the following key knowledge and skill areas are preferred:
•Certified vaccinator (essential)
•Smear taker
•Knowledge and previous experience in running nurse-led clinics for diabetes, asthma and / or other chronic medical conditions
•Willingness to undertake training for any areas requiring certification
•Willingness to share in a roster of 8 hour shifts that cover our opening hours:
–0730-2030 Mon-Thurs
–0730-1800 Fri
–0900-1200 Sat-Sun (no more than 1 in 3 weekend shifts)
