Practice Nurse In Large Gp Clinic

We require a part time Practice Nurse to join our team of 2 nurses and 13 GPs in a busy private practice located in Prahran. Prahran Market Clinic is a prominent general practice with a focus on the LGBTI community, sexual and HIV medicine. The clinic is located in a busy, vibrant area in Prahran.
Initially 2.5 days/18hrs per week.
The successful applicant must be flexible, work well in a team environment, and be able to extend days to cover periods of leave.
Duties will include:
Care Plans & Health Assessments

Managing recall & reminder systems

Vaccinations, immunisations

Wound care

Assisting doctors with minor procedures

Assisting in emergency situations

Current AHPRA registration, CPR & First Aid certificate, together with a minimum of 2 years experience in general practice nursing is essential.
An Immunisation Certificate is desirable. Experience in Sexual Health and/or HIV medicine would be an advantage.
