Job Description

The Company
Our client is a General Practitioner owner operated medical centre located in Mt Eden, established in 1931. They are proud to have created an environment that is welcoming and homely. The team comprises of 12 Doctors, seven Registered Nurses and a Practice Manager. An opportunity has arisen for a full time Practice Nurse to join their team and be responsible for providing nursing services in the practice.
The Role
As a Practice Nurse you will be reporting to the Lead Nurse or Practice Manager. You will also;
Work within your scope of practice and be responsible for providing patient-centred, culturally appropriate and individual holistic care to patients
Work co-operatively within the practice team to provide efficient, effective, professional nursing services
Actively support doctors enabling them to provide excellent patient care
Fall in line with our practice philosophy which is "going the extra mile"
Skills and Experience
To thrive in this role, you must be a New Zealand Registered Nurse who has:
A current Annual Practicing Certificate and vaccinators certificate
Prefer IV certification and Smear takers certificate
2-3 years Practice Nursing experience preferred but not essential
Sound communication skills to build good relationships
Outstanding organisational skills
