We are looking for an experienced Power Technician who is highly safety conscious to join our substations team in Auckland.The RoleYou will be responsible for providing technical detail to management and field delivery of high voltage substation testing works safely, positively, effectively and efficiently.
You will also:Work with management to plan and agree on work/job objectivesScope a job effectively and identify environmental and other influencing factorsEnsure plant and equipment are compliant, in test, in good working order and fit for purpose.Provide support for the estimating of works to ensure they are priced correctlyGuide with interpreting technical drawings and specifications when requiredPerform competent audits and quality checksArticulate job methodologies and approach clearly and clarify to team on siteSeek and explore alternative ideas/approaches to make cost savings and improvementsComplete necessary reportsWhat's in it for you?No two days will be the same as you will experience variety working in a range of challenging environments, which will extend your knowledge and capabilities.
